Our client, a leading provider in senior living community services, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be an essential part of the culinary team supporting meal service and maintaining a welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to serving older adults, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
Job Title: Food Service Worker
Location: Gadsden, AL
Pay Range: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Must be available to work 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Assist with meal service to residents in a senior living community
- Support the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards diligently
- Help create a warm and welcoming environment for residents during meal times
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth dining operations
What's Needed?
- Food Service Certificate or equivalent training as needed
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a caring attitude towards residents
- Willingness to work early mornings and weekends as scheduled
