Hospital Cook

Our client, Hospitals is seeking a Hospital Cook to join their team. As a Hospital Cook, you will be part of the Food Service team supporting patient meal service and special/catered events. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hospital Cook

Location: Lake City, FL

Pay Range: 17.91$

Shift: 8 Hours Per Shift Flexible hours required

What's the Job?

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for multiple meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Follow established food preparation and service procedures to support consistent, high-quality meal production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting safe food handling practices throughout each shift.
• Support timely meal service by working effectively with the team during peak production periods.
• Present food items in a professional manner that meets hospital service expectations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to prepare and portion food items accurately and efficiently for multiple meal periods.
• Strong commitment to food safety and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Willingness to follow site-specific procedures and production standards.
• Professional presentation and readiness to wear the required uniform: chef coat, black pants, slip resistant shoes.
