Pay Rate: $24/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Why This Role Matters
As a Patient Services Representative (Phlebotomist), you are the face of the organization for patients. Your ability to deliver accurate specimen collection while creating a comfortable and trusting experience plays a vital role in ensuring quality diagnostics and positive patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Perform accurate and timely blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
- Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all patient interactions and specimens
- Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients to ensure comfort and confidence
- Uphold safety, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions
- Support daily operations with minimal supervision while meeting productivity standards
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred
- Strong customer service skills; experience in retail or service environments preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Keyboard and data entry proficiency
- Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, TB test required; COVID and Flu strongly recommended)
