As a Phlebotomist, you represent the face of the organization to patients during important moments in their healthcare journey. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and patient‑focused approach help ensure accurate testing, patient confidence, and high‑quality outcomes.
What You'll Do
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures
• Verify patient demographic information and specimen labeling, obtaining patient confirmation post‑collection
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
• Maintain a safe, professional, and patient‑focused environment
What We're Looking For
• A current, up‑to‑date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision
• Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
