Location: Springfield, MO
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:15pm

You play a critical role in the patient experience and diagnostic process by ensuring specimens are collected safely, accurately, and efficiently—directly impacting the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with accuracy and professionalism
• Verify patient demographics and ensure proper specimen labeling in the patient’s presence
• Process and prepare specimens for testing following established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all safety and quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service while fostering a welcoming and professional patient environment
• Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed
• Float between patient service centers and/or physician offices based on business needs

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency
• Willingness to adhere to dress code (solid color scrubs with matching top and pants)
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
