Pay Rate: $25/hr

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

As a Phlebotomist, you play a critical role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to exceptional service directly support quality diagnostic testing and positive patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections
  • Accurately process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy
  • Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling verification
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties following established procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and professional environment
  • Travel to and support multiple patient service center and in-office locations as needed
  • Promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Strong customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred
  • Excellent phlebotomy, specimen handling, and patient interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call schedules based on business needs
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
