Aerospace Buyer Specialist

Our client, an aerospace and defense procurement organization, is seeking a Buyer Specialist to join their team. As a Buyer Specialist, you will be part of the procurement organization supporting government and military aerospace programs. The ideal candidate will have independent execution capabilities, analytical skills, and negotiation skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Buyer Specialist 

Location: Glendale, AZ (Hybrid) 

Pay Range: $31.14/hour

What’s the Job?

• Conduct market research and supplier sourcing activities in accordance with FAR and company procedures.
• Review and process purchase requisitions and develop solicitation packages.
• Analyze supplier proposals and quotations and prepare procurement summaries and source selection documentation.
• Perform price analysis and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Issue and administer purchase orders and subcontract modifications while maintaining procurement documentation for government audit review.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 6+ years of procurement, purchasing, or subcontract management experience supporting aerospace and defense programs.
• Knowledge of government contracting requirements, including FAR/DFARS.
• Experience preparing procurement summaries, sole source justifications, competitive bid evaluations, and source selection documentation.
• SAP/ERP system experience.
• Government purchasing experience.
