Assistant Construction Project Manager

Our client, a global technology company delivering mission-critical data center infrastructure, is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join their team. As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the Construction Management team supporting General Contractors, Project Teams, and key project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Assistant Construction Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $74.63 - $80.38/hour

What's the Job?

• Coordinate construction projects, develop detailed plans, and direct the integration of technical project activities.
• Attend and lead internal and external meetings with General Contractors and project stakeholders.
• Review change orders, investigate entitlement, and perform cost analysis to support project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential risks, and coordinate solutions related to cost, procurement, and schedule challenges.
• Present proposals, reports, and findings while supporting contract reviews, cost estimates, and project management activities.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of project management experience in construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Project management and schedule management experience.
• Trade/site experience or construction field exposure with an understanding of construction operations.
• Technical construction knowledge, including cost control and schedule planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; PMI or PMP certification preferred.
