Associate Scientist

Our client is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their team. As an Associate Scientist, you will be part of the Research & Development Department supporting product development, packaging, process development, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Trumbull, CT
Pay Range: $25/hr

What's the Job?

• Develop experimental designs and work plans to create prototype products that meet desired performance metrics.
• Review experimental data, provide preliminary interpretation, draw conclusions, and recommend next steps for development efforts.
• Collaborate closely with packaging, process development, and manufacturing teams during product development and commercialization.
• Conduct standard and non-standard chemical, physical, and application testing to evaluate composition and product performance.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records, monitor inventories and workspaces, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

What's Needed?

• Experience developing and executing laboratory experiments and prototype product evaluations.
• Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and present findings to team members and management.
• Knowledge of chemical, physical, or application testing methods.
• Ability to plan and schedule project-related tasks, including laboratory experiments, third-party testing, and consumer trials.
• Commitment to maintaining safe working conditions and following health, safety, and environmental regulations.
