HVAC Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $35.93 per hour
Shift: 7am-4pm
Location: Wilsonville, OR

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and building operations. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and related building systems while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair boilers, heating systems, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Manage HVAC-related projects, ensuring completion within established timelines and budgets.
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize building performance.
  • Perform painting and carpentry work associated with HVAC installations and repairs.
  • Understand, support, and maintain Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Utilize design software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, for system planning and documentation.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems connected to HVAC operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in construction, mechanical systems, and building operations.
  • Experience with boilers, ventilation systems, refrigerants, and HVAC-related plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical equipment, cooling towers, and HVAC controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and automated control systems.
  • Working knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems.
  • Understanding of energy management principles and building efficiency practices.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit is preferred.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety training practices.
