Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineering Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be an essential part of the Test & Diagnostic Engineering department, supporting the development, validation, and troubleshooting of automated test stations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Foster City, CA (fully onsite)

Pay Range: $39/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Develop, build, validate, troubleshoot, and support automated test stations in both laboratory and high-volume production settings
  • Create and review detailed test and process documentation, providing insights for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimize product manufacturability and testing processes
  • Follow technical drawings, instructions, and specifications to ensure precise execution of tasks
  • Travel between work sites as needed to support testing operations and installations

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree or higher in electrical, electronics, or mechanical technology with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain industrial-grade test systems
  • Strong skills in reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Experience assembling and repairing wiring harnesses
  • Familiarity with standard electrical lab equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
