Fire Alarm Inspector

Our client, a leading fire protection and life safety services company, is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to join their team. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be part of the Life Safety Services team supporting inspection, testing, and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fire Alarm Inspector

Location: Charlotte NC

Pay Range: $25-$30/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Conduct quality inspections while meeting customer expectations and compliance requirements.
• Work with low-voltage devices and equipment used in life safety systems.
• Complete service requests and inspection documentation using laptop-based systems.
• Identify additional products and services that could benefit customers.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts.
• NICET certification preferred but not required.
