Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Junior Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting design and drafting activities.
Job Title: Junior Mechanical Designer
Location: Wixom, Michigan | Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM
Pay Range: $25-$27/HR
What's the Job?
- Assist in creating detailed mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Prepare final documentation of engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly
- Support drafting and design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and quality of designs
- Contribute to project timelines and ensure deliverables meet specifications
What's Needed?
- Recent graduation from an engineering or design program preferred
- Basic experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
