Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and regulated environments industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician / Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Apex, NC

Pay Range:$30-32/hr. Contract to Hire

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate and perform preventative and corrective maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Support operations in compliance with safety policies, GMP standards, and site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, equipment logs, and CMMS records.
  • Support fire life safety systems and participate in shutdowns, emergency repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of fire life safety equipment.
  • Experience using CMMS systems for work order management and documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Apex, NC, with on-call responsibilities every 4 weeks.
