Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting expertise, and electrical knowledge, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Amarillo, TX

Pay Range:$34hr- $40hr

What's the Job?

• Following all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe working environment
• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, and repositioning components
• Performing emergency/breakdown maintenance to support plant operations
• Accurately using measurement and test equipment for repairs and diagnostics
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and completing maintenance records and paperwork

What's Needed?

• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Electrical knowledge and experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems
• Ability to perform repairs and installations accurately and efficiently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
