Materials Analyst

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a Materials Management Analyst to join their team. As a Materials Management Analyst, you will be part of the Supply Chain & Materials Department supporting the Materials Planning, Procurement, Operations, and Inventory Management Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Materials Management Analyst
Location: Clearwater, FL
Pay Range: $30.77 - $33.13/hr

What's the Job?

• Analyze inventory positions, material shortages, and supply risks to support production requirements.
• Investigate and resolve material-related issues caused by supply disruptions, inventory inaccuracies, and demand fluctuations.
• Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past-due materials to ensure material availability.
• Collaborate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve shortages and maintain production schedules.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to improve material visibility and operational decision-making.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of materials planning or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and experience using Access, SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Experience analyzing material availability, shortages, supply risks, and inventory management processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
