 As a Mech & Robotics Tech (Amazon RME) Venice, FL, you will be part of the Operations Maintenance team supporting the repair and maintenance of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the drive to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and the motivation to grow by learning new automated systems while helping others succeed.

Location:Venice, FL

Pay Range: 25-27Hr

What's the Job?

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Track and store department inventory while maintaining a positive working relationship across the facility.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• 1 year of experience in PC competency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Possible travel up to 20% at a minimum.
