Packaging Engineering Technician - Testing, Validation & Product Support

Our client, a global leader in the medical device and healthcare manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Packaging Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Packaging Engineering group supporting product development, testing, and validation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and a hands-on technical mindset that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Engineering Technician - Testing, Validation & Product Support
Location: Cockeysville, MD
Pay Range: $30.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform packaging testing activities, including distribution simulation, vacuum testing, torque testing, and related evaluations.
• Support pilot runs, product builds, and engineering validation activities.
• Inspect and measure raw materials using calipers, scales, optical comparators, and other precision measurement tools.
• Document test procedures, results, and observations through clear and accurate technical reports.
• Assist with engineering, laboratory, and administrative tasks based on departmental priorities and project needs.

What's Needed?

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, quality, or packaging testing environment.
• Hands-on experience using measurement tools such as calipers, scales, gauges, optical comparators, or similar equipment.
• Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow testing procedures, collect data accurately, and maintain detailed records.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
