Our client, Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a US-Production Scheduler to join their team. As a US-Production Scheduler, you will be part of the Manufacturing Scheduling team supporting the Bethel, CT production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to analyze production data to keep schedules on track, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Adhere to and align with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support planned production volumes and dates.
  • Re-sequence and re-route production orders when capacity constraints arise to minimize deviations from the MPS.
  • Manage shop floor scheduling by level loading work orders based on cell capacity and directing daily workflow using WIP reporting and cross-functional input.
  • Ensure work orders for assigned areas remain current, not past due, and not in pick status for extended periods; communicate promptly with operations when work is not available.
  • Support on-time delivery by expediting orders when possible, escalating execution issues when resolution time threatens MPS adherence, and monitoring/resolving quality issues that impact past due sales dollars.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain or operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry scheduling concepts, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, and MRP/ERP (MFG Pro is a plus).
  • Proficient computer-systems knowledge with solid Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across customers, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other stakeholders; ability to collaborate and drive measurable improvements.
