Project Engineer

Our client, an industry leader supporting industrial gases and capital projects, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) Group supporting North America’s strategic planning, turnaround planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Gonzales, LA

Pay Range: $80 - $85

What's the Job?

• Lead assigned capital projects, managing all engineering, design, and construction resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop estimates, funding documents, schedules, and ongoing forecasts for plant projects within SAP.
• Ensure all projects undergo process hazard reviews and operational readiness inspections, completing recommendations promptly.
• Maintain adherence to inherent process safety standards during project design and execution.
• Provide field supervision and support during project execution, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

What's Needed?

• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience in manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Technical degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Ability to influence decision-making processes and demonstrate high ethical standards.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications such as TWIC, OSHA, and pass background checks.
