Project Engineer - Generator & Power Generation Projects | Hybrid | $57.50/hr

Our client, a global leader in the power generation and energy industry, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative engineering organization supporting customers, EPC firms, manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations teams throughout the lifecycle of large-scale generator projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and project leadership experience that will enable success in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Job Title: Project Engineer - Generator Projects
Location: Greenville, SC (Hybrid; 2-3 days onsite per week)
Pay Range: $57.50/hour ($119,600 annualized equivalent)

What's the Job?

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, EPC firms, and internal engineering teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities, technical deliverables, and project execution for generator and power generation projects.
• Lead customer meetings, resolve technical issues, and manage engineering change requests.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and field personnel to support project execution and customer satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, or Field Engineering supporting generator, turbine, power generation, or related industrial projects.
• Strong customer-facing experience and ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing technical issues, engineering changes, project schedules, and budgets.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% and work in a hybrid environment.
