Job Title: Sourcing Manager | 12 months contract
Location: Novi, Michigan
Pay Range:$58- $62
What's the Job?
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across North America and other strategic regions to strengthen the supply base.
- Develop sourcing strategies for critical commodities, assemblies, and purchased components, including RFQ leadership, commercial negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Establish dual-source and risk-mitigation strategies for key materials and components to protect continuity and performance.
- Lead make-versus-buy analyses, supplier consolidation initiatives, and opportunities to localize and reshore supply chains where economically justified.
- Partner with Quality and cross-functional teams to support supplier quality expectations, corrective action processes, audits, and required qualification activities (including PPAP, first article, and supplier qualification as needed).
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 7+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier development experience.
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and strategic sourcing, including RFQ and supplier selection activities.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience implementing cost reduction initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
- APICS highly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
