Tooling Design Engineer

Our client, a global energy technology and manufacturing company, is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to join their team. As a Tooling Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Manufacturing, Production, Quality, and Design Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain tooling, fixtures, jigs, and production support equipment.
• Create and update CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support tooling installation, validation, calibration, and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing process issues while implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sourcing teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and tooling performance.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a similar technical role.
• Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings with working knowledge of GD&T.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills in a manufacturing environment.
