US - Lead Subcontracts Specialist

Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to join their team. As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will be part of the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing team supporting key aerospace programs. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and strong negotiation capabilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Subcontracts Specialist

Location: Tempe, AZ

Pay Range: $58.41/hour

What’s the Job?

• Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations
• Develop negotiation strategies and negotiate subcontracts or long-term purchase agreements
• Manage key program suppliers and build supplier strategies to deliver best value
• Train and mentor team members while leading assigned commodities
• Deliver compliant FAR 15 proposal packages and partner with Pricing for submissions

What’s Needed?

• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, law & contracts, or business/finance
• Experience with FAR 15 subcontracting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
