Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer to join their team. As a Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer, you will be part of the Performance & Operability Engineering team supporting cross-functional aerospace development programs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and expertise in aerospace gas turbine engine performance modeling, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Gas Turbine Performance Sr Advanced Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid) 
Pay Range: $58.65/hr

What’s the Job?

• Build, debug, refine, and maintain steady-state and transient thermal models using NPSS (Numerical Propulsion System Simulation).
• Develop and support NPSS customer models for aerospace gas turbine engines.
• Perform engine performance analysis, operability assessments, and requirements decomposition activities.
• Provide test data reduction and analysis to support engine development and qualification programs.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and communicate technical findings to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience performing turbine engine Performance & Operability Modeling and Analysis.
• Proven expertise building, debugging, and refining NPSS engine cycle models.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine engine steady-state and transient thermodynamics.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
