Vending Machine Field Service Technician

We are seeking a Field Service Technician in Houston who will independently maintains, repairs, installs, and services tire-inflation vending machines as the sole technician across an assigned single- or multi-state territory. This is a highly self-sufficient role: the technician runs their own base of operations and manages much of their territory end to end — equipment service, their own parts inventory, their own company vehicle and its maintenance, and the field coin collection and counting — with minimal direct supervision.

The technician maximizes machine uptime, protects company cash revenue, and serves as the face of the organization to retail partners and consumers. The role demands strong independent judgment, reliability, and a high standard of integrity when handling company funds

What’s Needed? 

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical, electrical, vending, equipment-repair, or field-service experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting 110V electrical systems and low-voltage controls; strong mechanical aptitude and pneumatic-system knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record (vehicle use is telematics monitored).
• Comfortable using mobile ticketing apps, Bluetooth lock apps, and basic spreadsheets/count forms.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision — self-managing time, parts inventory, vehicle, and cash handling against routes assigned by support staff.
• Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness in handling company funds and assets.
