Our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical components is seeking a Weekend Production Associate to join their team. As a Weekend Production Associate, you will be part of the production support team, helping keep automated line processing and manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Weekend Production Associate

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Pay Range: $16/hour

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

  • Complete manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups to support production readiness.
  • Gather, record, and analyze production information to support daily operations and continuous improvement.
  • Perform repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities to maintain performance and quality.
  • Oversee use of machine control systems and support their use in manufacturing equipment.
  • Resolve manufacturing-related problems affecting daily operations, including estimating requirements arising from process changes.

What's Needed?

  • 2 year vocational training plus up to 1 year experience in a related production environment.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field.
  • Ability to operate specialized machines and tools effectively, including setting parameters for production programs when applicable.
  • Comfort working with automated line processing and controlling, or operating within production lines using broader ranges of production machines.
  • Willingness to follow standardized work routines and use available guidelines, procedures, and work-specific instructions.
