Wire Harness Process Technician Supervisor

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Wire Harness Process Technician Supervisor to join their team. As a Wire Harness Process Technician Supervisor, you will be part of the Production Operations team supporting the Wire Harness Assembly group. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, hands-on interconnect and soldering expertise, and a quality-first mindset that will align successfully in the organization. This is a contract to direct hire position.

What's the Job?

• Supervise, coach, train, and develop a team of Wire Harness Technicians, including performance management, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to production goals, quality, safety, and ESD standards.
• Oversee the assembly, inspection, and processing of wire harnesses and discrete wire assemblies according to drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions in a production environment.
• Direct and ensure high-quality execution of wire cutting, stripping, crimping, tinning, soldering, and connector/terminal terminations, including pin-out verification.
• Interpret electrical schematics, connector pin-outs, wiring diagrams, and CAD models; guide the team in accurate setup, wiring, and issue diagnosis.

What's Needed?

• Several years of proven hands-on experience assembling discrete wire harnesses, interconnects, and connectors in a production setting, including soldering of wires, terminals, and related components.
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring technicians or production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, connector pin-outs, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings, with the ability to train others.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for wiring, connector, and harness issues, plus the ability to support and develop the team in these areas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, drive production rates and quality, follow (and enforce) documented procedures, and maintain safety/quality standards.
