Job Title: Space Data and Insights Analyst

Location: San Francisco, CA (Mission Bay area) — onsite up to 3 days/week

Pay Range: $70 to 75 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Serve as the quality-control layer for floor-plan publications by reviewing, approving, and validating plans before and after launch.
  • Own floor-plan governance and manage partner-vendor relationships tied to the client’s IWMS/CAFM platform, including drawing validation, intake, and version control.
  • Maintain and continuously improve CAFM/floor-plan playbooks that define ownership, approvals, publication standards, rollbacks, and escalation paths.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date floor, desk, room, and neighborhood data, reflecting immediate portfolio changes and ensuring compliance with space categorization standards (e.g., BOMA, OSCRE).
  • Coordinate audits and follow-through across multiple projects—spending the majority of time on quality control (50%) and vendor follow-through, while also driving process creation improvements (20%) and client coordination (30%).

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing CAFM/IWMS database systems (OfficeSpace preferred, or FM:Systems, TRIRIGA, Manhattan Centerstone, Archibus, Serraview, etc.).
  • Experience working with Sequal and CAD (5–7 years ideally), with strong literacy in reading and interpreting floor plans and construction documents.
  • Strong data architecture background or experience with large tech companies, with comfort supporting data integrity and governance at scale.
  • High level of comfort with emerging technology, including automation, APIs, and AI tools that can improve database efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and consultative communication skills, including the ability to manage expectations with diverse, high-performing tech stakeholders.

What's in it for me?

  • Work on a high-impact, extremely agile environment where space data integrity directly supports real workplace decisions.
  • Lead floor-plan governance and help shape future workplace data strategies through automation, APIs, and emerging AI where possible.
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure timely corrections and reliable outcomes.
  • Take ownership of process playbooks and quality audits that improve how space data is created, validated, and maintained.
  • Contribute to multiple concurrent projects (roughly 6–10) with clear focus areas across quality control, process improvement, and client coordination.
