Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Naperville, Illinois

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair building systems, including lighting, HVAC/R, and food equipment
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, pumps, and control systems
• Assist with plumbing repairs and general interior maintenance tasks
• Support conveyor and sortation systems, including troubleshooting scanners, printers, scales, and network equipment
• Document work performance, update work orders, and utilize CMMS systems for maintenance tracking

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
• Experience with control network components and motor controls
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders, and work in adverse conditions
