Autonomous Vehicle Operations Trainer

Our client, a leader in the autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a Mission Readiness Service Trainer to join their team. As a Mission Readiness Service Trainer, you will be part of the Mission Readiness Service team supporting new and experienced operators, Training Supervisors, Project Managers, and functional managers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Austin, TX 78741
Schedule: 
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (2nd Shift)
Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3rd Shift)
Pay Range: $33/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Provide training support through classroom facilitation, demonstrations, coaching, and feedback on standardized operating procedures.
• Review operator performance feedback and address training deficiencies identified by mentors and supervisors.
• Conduct assessments, audits, and evaluations of operator performance, providing detailed feedback to stakeholders.
• Assist in updating training materials and collaborate with Training Supervisors to improve training effectiveness.
• Maintain operational proficiency by completing monthly Service or Service Associate requirements and support training initiatives across locations as needed.

• At least 3 months of experience as a fully trained member of the Mission Readiness team.
• 1-3 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry or related operational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train, coach, and explain technical concepts.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screening.
