Our client, a leading energy technology organization, is seeking a Business Operations & Financial Analyst (Smartsheet Focus) to join their team. As a Business Operations & Financial Analyst, you will be part of the CTO PMO organization supporting Finance, HR, Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent stakeholder communication skills that will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Remote (Eastern & Central Time Zone support preferred)
Pay Range: $60.26/hr
Contract Duration: 10/01/2026 - 03/30/2027

What's the Job?

• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis activities across multiple business functions.
• Track headcount plans, contractor spend, workforce metrics, staffing forecasts, and organizational reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Smartsheet dashboards, workflows, forms, reports, and automated business processes.
• Create executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and leadership reporting packages to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and enhance automated reporting solutions using Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, and Python-based tools.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience supporting business operations, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, PMO operations, or workforce planning.
• Advanced Smartsheet experience including dashboards, reports, workflows, forms, cross-sheet references, and complex formulas.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, financial modeling, data analysis, and dashboard development.
• Experience supporting budget management (OpEx/CapEx), variance analysis, headcount planning, contractor tracking, and executive reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Python, Power BI, Power Automate, or Smartsheet API integrations is highly preferred.
