Construction Safety Manager | Ashburn, VA 

Our client, a leading technology company in the data center construction industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager 4, you will be part of the Data Center Construction team supporting large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will have strong safety leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure a safe and compliant construction environment.

Job Title: Construction Safety Manager 
Location: Ashburn, VA 
Pay Range: $78.66 - $84.72 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Oversee construction safety programs and ensure compliance with established safety standards and procedures.
  • Partner with General Contractors and project teams to maintain a safe work environment across active data center construction sites.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and documentation using Nexus and other reporting tools.
  • Review site operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve safety and operational concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on worker safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
What’s Needed?
  • 6+ years of experience in construction safety, with significant experience on data center construction projects.
  • Previous experience working as a Safety Professional overseeing contractor and construction safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard identification, incident prevention, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.
