Our client, a manufacturer and a global leader in equipment and solutions for outdoor environments, including turf maintenance, landscaping, snow and ice management, irrigation, and specialty construction equipment, is seeking a Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Minnesota. As a Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be part of the EHS function supporting site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a zero-harm mindset, and the ability to interpret and apply EHS regulations across business operations—while building practical, measurable safety systems that help teams perform at their best.

Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Location: Windom, Minnesota

Pay Range: $103,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?

  • Partner with site leadership to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence every day.
  • Implement and standardize the Safety Management System across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements.
  • Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and injury elimination efforts to support a zero-harm culture.
  • Oversee regulatory programs (e.g., machine guarding, PPE, and environmental compliance) and drive continuous improvement through audits, metrics, and corrective action closure.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • 3+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement.
  • Applicable EHS certificate preferred (i.e., CSP, CIH, OHST) and the ability to obtain professional certification within 3 years after starting in the EHS Manager role.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to facilitate training and drive performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS projects in a manufacturing environment, including incident prevention and investigation support.
