Facilities Specialist - Level 2

Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management leader, is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join their team. As a Facilities Specialist, you will be part of the Workplace Experience & Facilities Operations team supporting two office locations in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor coordination experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.

Job Title: Facilities Specialist
Location: Shelton, CT & Enfield, CT
Pay Range: $28/hour
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

What's the Job?

• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations across multiple office locations, ensuring a positive workplace experience for clients and employees.
• Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Monitor, track, and drive work orders to completion while proactively communicating updates and resolving issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through responsive communication and exceptional customer service.
• Support daily facilities operations, maintenance activities, and workplace-related initiatives to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained sites.

What's Needed?

• 2-4 years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, property management, operations, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or third-party service providers.
• Strong work order management and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and support multiple locations as needed.
