Field Safety Technician | Sabine Pass, TX

Our client, a leading global energy and petrochemical company, is seeking a Field Safety Technician to join their team. As a Field Safety Technician, you will be part of the Safety & Health Department supporting operations, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams across the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership and coaching abilities, and excellent organizational skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Sabine Pass, TX
Pay Range: $52.88 - $60.43/hour

What’s the Job?

• Support Safety & Health programs by engaging with field personnel to promote compliance and reinforce safety best practices.
• Serve as a visible safety leader in the field, coaching and mentoring employees and contractors to strengthen the site's safety culture.
• Conduct safety walks, hazard identification assessments, and assist in the resolution of safety findings.
• Assist with the implementation and execution of SSH&E programs, including start work checks, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Participate in incident investigations and support site recognition and safety rewards programs.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably supporting large industrial or construction projects.
• Associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent field experience.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications (or higher-level safety training).
• Experience with lifting and rigging, crane operations, confined spaces, working at heights, and work permitting processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills; TWIC card, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation required.
