Hardware Development Engineer

Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and a passion for continuous learning, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $50.34

What's the Job?

• Collaborate on an agile team to design and develop new industrial automation products, including overall architecture and hardware verification.
• Program, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic hardware prototypes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Prepare comprehensive product design documentation and detailed test reports to support development and regulatory compliance.
• Lead technical initiatives such as researching emerging technologies, implementing new circuit design tools, and troubleshooting hardware failures.
• Work with technical peers to implement test automation and design simulation, fostering innovation and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cross-functional product development environments.
• Proficiency with design capture tools, reading and understanding schematics, and in-depth knowledge of circuit theory and operation.
• Experience with hardware test equipment such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset focused on learning and mentorship.
