Lab Technician IV

Our client, Semiconductor Manufacturing is seeking a Lab Technician IV to join their team. As a Lab Technician IV, you will be part of the Wafer Integration Engineering support group supporting process development and wafer integration engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues methodically, and the drive to learn new tools and processes while working independently with minimal supervision.

What's the Job?

• Support process development and wafer integration engineering teams by executing experiments, logging data accurately, and troubleshooting processes.
• Adapt to changes on the fly and pursue alternate paths when necessary to achieve objectives.
• Operate metrology and inspection tools to support measurement and evaluation needs.
• Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality.
• Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations to maintain stable operations.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Willingness to learn, stay flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in cleanroom and semi-cleanroom environments while following established procedures.
• Experience using metrology and inspection tools is preferred (examples include AFM, MFM, interferometer, SEM, and high magnification optical microscopy).
• Experience in semiconductor/IC manufacturing or magnetic read/write head slider fabrication is a significant plus.
