Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a US-Lead Quality Engineer to join their team. As a US-Lead Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: US-Lead Quality Engineer

Location: Beltsville, MD

Pay Range:$60

What's the Job?

  • Ensure the quality of products through development and enforcement of robust Quality Systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead and supervise personnel responsible for Quality Leading Indicators (QLI), Supplier Quality oversight, audits, and special processes.
  • Develop tracking, evaluation, and structured corrective action activities to foster continuous improvement.
  • Mentor employees on Quality Systems, ensuring compliance and fostering professional growth.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Experience managing quality systems and conducting audits.
  • Knowledge of Blue Prints, Specifications, and Quality System standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, TS16949.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Quality software tools.
