Maintenance Engineer

Our client, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting Operations and Production. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana 

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to keep equipment and systems running reliably.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support maintenance planning by documenting work performed and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Assist with repairs, upgrades, and installations while following established procedures and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and other maintenance team members to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment or systems.
• Working knowledge of maintenance best practices, preventive maintenance, and basic reliability principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety, including following lockout/tagout and safe work procedures.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach to coordinating maintenance activities.
