Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Grand Rapids, MI area

Pay Range:$90000 - $95000 DOE plus OT, benefits, bonus, etc.

What's the Job?

  • Lead, support, and prioritize maintenance activities and staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Educate and assist maintenance personnel with training, career development, and skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage contract work and project timelines.
  • Prepare budgets, manage costs, and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and safety standards.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in preventative maintenance as a Lead or Supervisor in equipment maintenance for automotive manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external contacts.
  • Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with standard and specialized maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Leadership experience in supervising and developing maintenance teams.
