Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Vehicle Operations Triage Specialist to join their team. As a Vehicle Operations Triage Specialist, you will be part of the Fleet Operations department supporting the testing and safety monitoring of autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Vehicle Operations Triage Specialist
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $29/hr.
Shift: M-F 10am-6:30pm
What's the Job?
- Conduct first level triage across multiple test modalities, including public roads testing, closed-course testing, and simulation environments
- Collaborate closely with the software triage team to sustain a fast, iterative feedback loop supporting continuous improvement
- Lead the issue lifecycle from identification and analysis to mitigation and reporting
- Accurately classify autonomy interventions based on disengagement or cancellation type, ensuring data consistency across reviews
- Participate in daily standups to align on priorities, discuss concerns, and incorporate updates to review processes
What's Needed?
- 2+ years of professional experience in autonomous vehicle operations, testing, or safety monitoring
- Proficiency in utilizing proprietary software tools and applications
- Ability to maintain high efficiency and accuracy during extended data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical thinking and unbiased evaluation
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities
