What’s the Job?

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating employees.
  • Recommend and implement methods to improve productivity, product quality, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Review manufacturing operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve production or processing issues.
  • Develop and maintain production tracking and quality control systems.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and quality metrics to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and support production personnel.
  • Address employee concerns and assist with resolving workplace issues.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and production goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant production or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of machines, tools, repair procedures, and maintenance practices.
  • Understanding of design techniques, technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities and time.
