Our client, a leading organization in the food processing industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor, 1st Shift to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, 1st Shift, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the manufacturing and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Pay Range:$75,000 - $92,000
What's the Job?
- Organize and direct work on the processing floor to meet production schedules efficiently.
- Ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and cleanliness standards are maintained by the hourly workforce.
- Monitor quality checks to meet quality goals and food safety standards, reducing organizational risks.
- Lead and support employee safety initiatives, risk management, and labor relations activities to foster a safe and engaging work environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop training plans that support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- Three to five years of related experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment near moving mechanical parts and in refrigerated and freezing conditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
