Project Controls Specialist

Our client, a global energy and electrification leader, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join their team. As a Project Controls Specialist, you will be part of the Project Controls Department supporting Project Management and Cost Control Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Controls Specialist
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $53/hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop and maintain project schedules and cost estimates using Primavera P6 and SAP
• Monitor project progress and forecast cost and schedule performance
• Identify and mitigate risks related to scheduling and budgeting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for alignment
• Provide detailed project reporting and support project closeout activities

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in project scheduling and planning
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and SAP
• Experience with cost control, forecasting, and large projects
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
