Our client, a global manufacturer in the fragrance, food ingredients, and specialty chemicals industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting Manufacturing, Operations, and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities that will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Princeton, NJ (100% Onsite)
Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Contract Duration: Approximately 2.5-month contract assignment (through September 30, 2026)
What’s the Job?
- Conduct Gemba walks and quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet established specifications.
- Support nonconformance investigations and corrective action activities (Z1, Z3, and Z5 cases).
- Review batch records, analytical results, product specifications, and process changes prior to product release.
- Monitor quality system actions within the Integrated Management System (IMS) and support document control processes.
- Partner with operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support plant-wide 5S activities.
What’s Needed?
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably within fragrance, food, chemical, or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Experience working with quality systems such as SAP, LIMS, or similar platforms.
- Technical degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
