Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle technology company, is seeking a Readiness and Response Operator 1 (RR1) to join their team. As an RR1, you will play a critical role in preparing and maintaining the developmental test fleet. This position blends technical execution with logistics and fleet upkeep, ensuring vehicles meet engineering standards before testing. The ideal candidate will have strong operational discipline, technical aptitude, and the ability to remain flexible in dynamic environments.

Pay Range: $25/hour
 
 
What’s the Job?
  • Execute mission-prep procedures for developmental vehicles, including software launches, configuration verification, and safety inspections.
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment movement across sites; serve as a precision driver during tests.
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness, detailing, fueling, and charging to meet engineering requirements.
  • Provide logistical assistance during vehicle recovery events, transporting equipment and personnel to restore operations.
  • Manage inventory of consumables (fluids, cleaning supplies, minor hardware) to ensure zero downtime.
 
What’s Needed?
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and required PPE.
  • Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening; must comply with the Substance Abuse Policy.
  • 2–4 years of experience in fast-paced operational environments (aviation ground ops, automotive service, logistics, or technical field ops).
  • Comfort using mobile devices, laptops, and software interfaces to manage vehicle states and report issues.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; precision driving required.
