Revit Pipe Support Designer

Our client, factory engineering and design team is seeking a Revit Pipe Support Designer to join their team. As a Revit Pipe Support Designer, you will be part of the factory engineering and design group supporting the design and fabrication planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to collaborate across disciplines, and a drive to produce accurate, fabrication-ready models that help move projects forward.

Job Title: Revit Pipe Support Designer

Location: Austin, Texas

Pay Range: $70

What's the Job?

• Develop design documents and deliverables in 2D and 3D using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create clash-free fabrication-level models (LOD 400-500) for onsite assembly of specialty piping systems, with a focus on pipe support content.
• Use Revit fabrication parts (specifically for pipe supports) to support accurate detailed design and fabrication schedules for estimating, procurement, and construction.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines using clear, effective communication to keep design intent aligned.
• Interpret Pipe Stress Engineer input, redlines, and sketches, then visualize pipe support methods in the Revit model and generate pipe support layout plans with fabricated parts tags and callouts.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of Computer-Aided Design, Revit Modeling and Drafting experience in piping design or structural design, with evidence of exceptional abilities.
• Experience as a detailed designer/modeler in Piping Design or Steel Structural Design.
• Proficiency using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, ASME, and applicable building codes.
