Test Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Vehicle Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams including computer vision, infrastructure, sound design, strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate discipline, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $34.96/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Support vehicle operations by executing testing procedures and maintaining vehicle readiness
• Conduct software and hardware tests, review data, and produce ZPTs for known and new issues
• Log issues in JIRA, communicate findings to engineering teams, and assist in defect resolution
• Assist with documentation, metrics, and paperwork related to vehicle testing and readiness
• Analyze vehicle logs and test data to identify root causes of failures and support process improvements

What's Needed?

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive mindset with resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence or Azure Dev Ops
• At least 2 years of experience in complex testing or vehicle testing environments
• Basic QA testing experience and a safety-first attitude
