Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Global Freight team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Logistics Specialist - Freight Shipping Coordinator

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Range: $40-$50

Shift: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Coordinate end-to-end freight movements across air, ocean, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments.
• Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery by monitoring shipment statuses and troubleshooting exceptions such as delays, damages, and capacity constraints.
• Prepare and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork.
• Communicate shipment schedules and updates to internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, and customs brokers.

What's Needed?

• High School or College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-8+ years of experience in freight coordination, shipping, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping, Incoterms, and basic customs processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
